The South East NRM region covers an area of approximately 28, 000 square kilometers. It has a diverse landscape, which enables a range of agricultural enterprises from the cropping and grazing activities in the north to the undulating forestry, dairy and horticulture lands in the cooler south. The region contributes about $5.0 billion per annum towards the State Gross Domestic Agricultural Product (GDAP) and more than 30% of the South Australian GDAP is produced by the South East agriculture sector.
The SE NRM Board considers that an integral aspect of natural resource management is sustainable agricultural production and that this can best be delivered by the rural community. The board is aware that it needs to support rural communities in their understanding of, and capacity to address, issues of sustainable land management. The Sustainable Ag team has a key role in facilitating this awareness and involvement.
This site contains information on workshops, grants, research and a whole range of sustainable Agriculture issues.

How you can help us
There are a lot of trials, research and information sheets which have been produced across the SE by a variety of groups over the past 20 years or so. We are on the hunt for this information. If you have an electronic copy on your computer, a folder in your bookshelf, or a fact sheet in the filing cabinet we would love to hear from you.
