NRM Groups have very important roles and responsibilities in the continued and appropriate management of our precious natural resources. They are a vital link between communities and the SE NRM Board. The Groups provide support and contribute to the Board’s activities and ensure a consistent and integrated approach is achieved.
The Southern NRM Group in the South East, or Limestone Coast Zone, of South Australia is bounded by the coast to the south and west, the Victorian border to the east and the northern Wattle Range Council boundary to the north. It incorporates the City of Mount Gambier, the District Council of Grant and Wattle Range Council.
