The Box Flat Dingo Control Coordinating Committee concerns itself with all issues of the eradication of dingoes that affect primary industries within the area of the District Council of Tatiara, the Southern Mallee District Council and eastern part of the Coorong District Council including all public and private lands, and at times to coordinate activities up to and including Billiatt Conservation Park.
They advise the SE NRM Board and the Murray Darling Basin NRM Board on the management of dingoes in relation to the Natural Resource Management Act 2004.
The functions of the committee include:

Coordinate regular baiting programs to minimize incursions onto agricultural land

Coordinating control activities for dingoes in response to dingo activity

Fostering the current collaborative arrangement with National Parks and Wildlife

Supporting and encouraging landowners to carry out dingo control

Liaising with natural resource management groups

Fostering and supporting effective fencing around National Parks
The group meets at least twice a year and special meetings are called as necessary.
