A number of animals including rabbits, foxes, dingoes, feral deer and feral pigs have established pest populations in the South East.

Not only do they pose a threat to endangered and endemic species, they can also impact on the sustainable management of the South East landscape. With many of the major pest animals established over decades the main object of the SE NRM Board is to reduce their numbers and their impacts on the ecosystem.
